Liberty Contract Consultants looks forward to fighting tyranny and injustice anywhere we can. Our purview is not restricted to domestic issues alone. Liberty Contract Consultants and its affiliates and subsidiaries only work and align with legal businesses, companies, NGOs, and other fibrant organizations that hold our beliefs in liberty and justice. We admire those who fight and are not afraid to make sacrifices for the greater collective good, often putting themselves in harm’s way to protect those most vulnerable. Therefore, we only associate with those that support and work towards enforcing the UN SDG’s in their entirety.
We focus on advocating and working for the achievement of all United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Gender Equality, which is a major concern in today's society.
Women and girls account for half of the world’s population, and thus half of its potential. However, gender inequality continues everywhere and restricts social progress.
On average, women in the labor sector earn 23% less than men worldwide, and women work three times as many hours in unpaid domestic and care work as men.
Sexual abuse and exploitation, unfair distribution of unpaid care and domestic work, and prejudice in public office are all significant impediments. The COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated all of these areas of inequality: there has been an increase in complaints of sexual assault, women have taken on additional care work as a result of school closures, and women account for 70% of worldwide health and social workers.
Worldwide, nearly half of married women lack decision-making power over their sexual and reproductive health and rights. 35 percent of women between 15-49 years of age have experienced physical and/ or sexual intimate partner violence or non-partner sexual violence.
We can proudly say that the majority of the law firms and legal representatives we work with across Australia are women. Over 60% of the law firms we work with are female-owned, and over 50% of the legal representatives we work with, including paralegals, solicitors, barristers, senior councils, and kings councils, are all women.
